String instruments produce the sound from the strings that are plucked, bowed or struck. Some popular string instruments include violin, guitar, bass, harp, cello and so on.
Brass instruments are made of brass or some other metals that produce the sound when the air is blown inside. The musicians’ lips must buzz due to which the vibration is generated and the air gets inside producing a sound. Keyboards are one of the most popular instruments being played by many musicians. It typically contains keys for playing with a combination of larger, longer keys and smaller, shorter keys. It is a finger job and requires a lot of effort to get a harmonious tone.
Therefore, playing any musical instrument requires extra energy and different body parts get involved together to produce a melodious sound. It is true that some amount of extra calories can be burnt if a musical instrument is played regularly.
